An amateur may qualify for membership in the Breakfast Club, by checking into the net 10 times, not necessarily consecutive or in any particular time period.

When you have your 10 check-ins, enter your callsign here, and click ok to print the form needed to obtain a certificate.

Breakfast Club News
A bi-monthly paper of the Breakfast Club. Minimum donation $7.00 per year for hard copy version. $1.00 per year for an e-mail version for those having high speed service. Check or money order preferred. Send to editor-AA9VW. Any surplus will be used to send sample copies to new check-ins, etc. Unless otherwise requested, all donations will be considered for 1 year. Please make checks payable to Bob McIntosh/BC News.

Memorial Fund
This fund is used to send memorials to a family when a member or spouse becomes a silent key. Also, cards are sent to members who are ill. Any donations to this fund should be sent to Luan-KC9PGS.

COME ONE, COME ALL! You do not need to be a Breakfast Club member to attend.

JULY 12, 2013-FRIDAY
5:30 PM To ?.....Supper at TJ's Restaurant (each pays for their own meal)

JULY 13, 2013-SATURDAY BOMAR BUILDING, 253 MUNGER LANE, HANNIBAL, MO (see map below)
8:00 AM-9:00 AM.....BREAKFAST ($10.00 per person)

9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.....FREE TIME to explore downtown Hannibal. Lunch on your own. Suggested activities:

  • Hannibal Parks & Recreation Lighthouse Trail Scavenger Hunt
  • Geocaching:a treasure hunting game where you use GPS to hide and seek containers with other participants in the activity.
  • Table Games: Bingo, Yatzee, Mexican Train Dominoes, Jenga, Bunco, cards

    Special Visitors: Tom Sawyer and Becky will be there to take pictures with, and will put on a short skit.

    Silent Auction: We ask that each of you bring a nice item to be auctioned off in a silent auction. It does not have to be amateur radio related. Proceeds will go to the 2013 picnic expenses.

    BINGO (free) Will be played during this time. Prizes will be available.

    4:00 PM to 5:30 PM.....BUSINESS MEETING: BC Club meeting and presentation of awards.

    5:30 PM to ?.....DINNER WILL BE SERVED ($15 per person)

    Menu: Fried Chicken, Meat Loaf, Au Gratin Potatoes, Baked Beans, 7-Layer Salad.
    (Soda will not be sold, be sure to bring your own)

    50/50 DRAWING, DOOR PRIZES

    END OF BIDDING ON SILENT AUCTION ITEMS
    Persons with winning silent auction bid will be called to pay for and pick up their items.

    JULY 14, 2013-SUNDAY
    7:30 AM to 9:00 AM.....Goodbye breakfast at Mark Twain Dinette.(Each person pays for their own meal)


    NOTE: We are leaving it up to each party to choose your motel or hotel for the weekend. A list will be available upon your request, or check the internet for available choices. Make your reservations early!
    Reservations for the saturday breakfast/dinner must be made by June 30, 2013.
